Guitar exams: FAQ
Which guitar exam boards do you prepare students for?
Trinity College London (including Rock & Pop), ABRSM, London College of Music (LCM) and Rockschool (RSL).
Which grade should I start at?
That depends on your current playing. The first session assesses your technique, reading and repertoire so we can choose a grade you can prepare for with confidence.
Can I prepare for a guitar exam online?
Yes. Exam preparation runs in person in Asansol or fully online, with the same repertoire work, technical practice and mock performances.
Do you teach acoustic, electric and classical exam syllabuses?
Yes. Preparation is matched to the instrument and syllabus you are entering for.
Your next step
Your guitar will not learn itself.
Book a private session if you want personal guidance. Join the course library if you prefer to learn independently. Or simply tell me what you want to play and I’ll help you choose.
